Everything new is well made over from the old
The late-Gothic residential building at Suur-Karja 12 is a living example. We have completely stripped the inside of the house and rebuilt it to meet the expectations of a modern dwelling.
After a thorough restoration using the best materials, we have created a first-class apartment building.
A radically changed house
Out of respect for the Old Town, we have reached a new level of detail and thoroughness. We believe that city dwellers moving to the New Karst Residence would have done exactly the same in our place. A broad vision and discerning taste oblige. Including us. The bespoke solutions, created according to the vision of Aet Piel, a top Estonian interior designer, have transformed the house.
Spacious and logical living environment
The medieval apartment building of a wealthy city dweller is now a spacious and logical place to live. The Uus-Karja Residences is not a museum to visit, but a grand home to live in. It is practically impossible to find the same level of interior design in the Old Town. The house has been fundamentally transformed by custom-made solutions created according to the vision of Aet Piel, a top Estonian interior architect.
The newest building in Tallinn Old Town
It goes without saying that the house has all new engineering solutions, soundproof windows, apartment-specific heat recovery ventilation and underfloor heating. The building also has an elevator as a completely new solution. It is essentially the newest building in Tallinn's Old Town. Literally. The building has been radically transformed by bespoke solutions created according to the vision of Aet Piel, a top Estonian interior designer.
